The school’s faculty are highly qualified and have many years of clinical experience. Our teachers have successful practices as professional homeopaths. Each bring their own unique method of teaching and experience of homeopathy to the classroom. Each faculty member offers a different perspective on the material thereby providing the students a greater variety of perceptions into homeopathic remedies, prescribing strategies and different approaches to case taking techniques. We believe this variety in teaching styles gives our students a complete and well-rounded education.

John Ourant HMC
I am a graduate of Louis Klein’s Master Clinician program. I have also studied with many other prominent homeopathic teachers, including Jan Scholten, Misha Norland, and Jeremy Sherr, and studied Sensation Method from the Inner Health school. I have been practicing homeopathy since 2000. My specialty and sole focus of my practice is homeopathy. I practice following classical homeopathic principles: remedy selection according to the Law of Similars, the minimum dose, and using single remedies. I believe that this is the best way for me to consistently achieve the best results for my clients.
I live in Ashland, Oregon with my wife and two children. On most 1st and 3rd Friday nights I can be found DJ’ing and dancing at the Evergreen Ballroom. I am currently the Scoutmaster of Boy Scout Troop 112. Before discovering homeopathy, I received a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of California at San Diego and had a career in signal processing and computer science.
